Q: Do I have to pay to register at Phil-JobNet ?
A: No, Phil-JobNet service is free of charge.

Q: Can a fresh graduate apply at Phil-JobNet?
A: Every Filipino can apply at Phil-JobNet whether unskilled, undergraduate or fresh graduate, however, it is to your advantage if you have skills.

Q: If I cannot pay for internet time where else can I apply?
A: Jobseekers may visit the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) located at the Municipality/City/Provincial Halls covering your area.

Q: What if the PESO is not connected to the internet?
A: The PESO can still assist applicants because it is in their mandate to facilitate the employment of the people who are residents of their area of jurisdiction. PESOs have vacancies solicited from establishments within their area.

Q: When can I expect job match result?
A: Immediately after the submission of application, the jobseekers may get results.

Q: What comes next after viewing job matches?
A: If you get matches by accessing Phil-JobNet site using private account or thru the internet Cafes, you can go directly to the employers specified on the match result. If you get result thru the DOLE/PESO you may have the option to get job referrals to companies. Please note that with or without referrals, as long as you match the qualification requirements of the companies you will be entertained in the company.

Q: How long does Phil-JobNet keep my record?
A: Jobseekers record expires 30 days after filing of an application, to keep it active applicants are advised to renew their application. Records which remain inactive for a period of 6 months (that is no activity was done on the record), it will be deleted in the system.

Q: I am an old user of the Phil-Jobnet and has used the system for quite sometime. For the past few months I was not able to visit the site since I am already employed. Lately, I heard that there will be a new version of the Phil-jobnet that will be deployed. Do I need to register again?
A: No, registered users need not register again. The new Jobnet will still be using the same old database. Just login using your old password and you may avail of the services of the system just like the way you used to, plus some additional features that the new version has to offer. However, in case you experience difficulties in logging in, please feel free to e-mail your problem at [email protected]

Q: I am willing to accept encoding jobs, can the Phil-Jobnet help me?
A: The revised version of the Phil-Jobnet has a page dedicated for individuals who would like to post their services. Check out this new feature.

Q: What's the difference between the old and the new Jobnet?
A: The new Phil-Jobnet incorporates all the services and functionalities of the previous version but with a new internet ready database and a faster search engine. This translates into fast information retrieval for quick access to employment opportunities.

Q: How can one avail of the free services of the Phil-Jobnet?
A: Depending on the availability of an Internet Service Provider in ones locality, selected Public Employment Service Offices offers free access to Phil-Jobnet. Visit your nearest Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in your province, city or municipality or the Regional Office of the Department of Labor and Employment and inquire on the availability of the free Phil-Jobnet access.

Q: Are SPES Job openings available in the Phil-Jobnet?
A: SPES Job openings are not available in the Phil-Jobnet listing. Students wishing to join the SPES Programs should access the BLE-IS @www.ble-is.dole.gov.ph.

Q: Are Foreign nationals matched using the Phil-Jobnet allowed to work in the Philippines?
A: Employment of foreign nationals in the Philippines is governed by Philippine Labor Laws. Appropriate entry visa and an employment permit obtained from the Department of Labor and Employment is a prerequisite for a foreign national to be able to work in the Philippines.

Q: What can a Person With Disability expect from the new Phil-Jobnet?
A: Job openings from companies that cater to both able and disabled person are now available in the new Phil-Jobnet. However, DOLE and the Bureau of Local Employment which handles the Phil-Jobnet system administration cannot guarantee wider selection or availability of job openings for PWDs since the occurence of such vacancies is dependent on the needs of business and commercial establishments.

Q: Who may register at Phil-JobNet?
A: All legitimate employers in the Philippines.

Q: Do employers have to pay to register and post vacancies at Phil-JobNet?
A: Employers dont have to pay because Phil-JobNet services are free of charge.

Q: What do Employers have to submit to be accredited at Phil-JobNet?
A: Employers after registration should submit their BIR certificate of Registration (TIN) and any of the following applicable documents: Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration, DTI/BOI certificate of registration, CDA registration, DOLE License for Local Private Recruitment and Placement Agency, POEA License for Overseas Recruitment and Placement Agency, Business or Mayors Permit

Q: How do we know if we are already accredited?
A: After evaluation of the submitted documents, you will receive an e-mail confirming your accreditation from Phil-JobNet. That is also a signal that you can already post vacancies.

Q: How can we post job vacancies?
A: Posting of job vacancies can be done online, if you dont have internet connection, you can fax your vacancies at Fax # 5272421. Under the following format: Name of company Vacancy Title Number of vacancies and Preferences as to Physical Attributes, Work Experience and Educational attainment

Q: How can I make comments or suggest for better enhancement of the the PJN?
A: Use the Contact Us option in the Minor Links.
